ABOUT THE POSITION

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The ensure that office and equipment are kept tidy be in charge of maintaining specified
sections within the Client’s Head Office by performing a variety of cleaning and
maintenance duties.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 10
  • At least two (2) years corporate cleaning experience

WORKPLACE COMPETENCIES:

  • Time Management
  • Attention to detail

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that offices, boardrooms and kitchen are cleaned accordingly and when
    required according to a cleaning roster
  • Using various cleaning tools and chemicals to carry out one’s work
  • Ensure timeous reporting on outstanding cleaning items i.e. detergents etc.
  • Ensure that the cleaning roster is completed and signed accordingly
  • Ensure that the time sheet is completed and signed accordingly

ABOUT THE POSITION

The role:

Facilitate the guest experience in terms of housekeeping, meal co-ordination and activity co-ordination. Ensure that all the needs of guests are catered for by providing a personalised service to guests.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Facilitating the Guest experience:

  • Meet guests when they arrive and getting them settled in their rooms
  • Anticipate guests’ needs by learning their preferences. Allergies, dislikes etc
  • Have a thorough understanding of the menu and all drinks in stock
  • Access and restock mini bar in rooms
  • Serve meals and drinks for guests
  • Tidy rooms and ensure housekeeping are on standard
  • Run errands for guests when necessary
  • Recommend and arrange amenities for guests
  • See guests off when they check out
  • Remain well-groomed all times
  • Keep updated with all activities on the property
  • Keep updated with all policies and protocols
  • General
  • Perform other related duties as required
  • Assists other departments when required
  • Be available to serve on various committees that are required by the company and by law

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Grade 12
  • Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management
  • 3 years in Hopitality

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of food and wine pairing
  • How to host high-end guests
  • Safety and First Aid

Other requirements:

  • Drivers licence Code EB
  • Computer literate
  • Language proficiency: English
  • Must be in good physical and mental health

Package:

Single accomodation is offered to the successful candidate including water and lights
Partly furnished, there is a relocation fee given
